Volunteering can give you back a sense of belonging and value, working with a friendly team who will help you find a position that’s right for you.

news from catterick
A huge thank you to all our amazing Community Volunteers in Catterick. Your support continues to shape Bramble Woods, and we’re excited to grow even further in 2026. Whether you can spare an hour a month or join us regularly, there’s a role for you just contact Amy.
Our community events keep expanding, and this year we’re continuing work on the sensory garden, pollinator meadow, and new planting across the site. Our bees return this spring, and the bee50K volunteers are ready to welcome them.
Community Planters are available again at £20 per year, including training, support, and tools.
We’re grateful for ongoing support from Amey, who first seed‑funded Bramble Woods and continue to contribute through the Move You In Pack. With backing from Viking Arms and new National Lottery funding, we’re growing from strength to strength.
This year we’re also welcoming new roles to support the site: a Site Gardener, a Swop Shop Coordinator, and an additional Beekeeper to help expand our programmes.
Bramble Woods continues to flourish as a nature‑rooted community hub powered by the people who make it special.
Introducing Our Community Built Volunteer App
e50K is excited to share that we are designing our own volunteer app, built specifically for our community. With the amazing support of SEKO Logistics, this new tool will help us organise activities more smoothly and improve coordination for everyone involved.
for volunteers
The volunteer app will give every volunteer the tools they need to manage their schedules, receive updates, and stay informed. It’s designed to make the whole experience smoother and more professional. It will also support site operations by helping activities run more efficiently and improving coordination between volunteers and organisers.
“This app will transform how we connect with and support our volunteers,” said Rachael Ladd, Operations Director at e50K. “With SEKO’s support, we’re able to build a platform that enhances the volunteer experience and keeps everything running smoothly. We’re excited to see it come to life.”
All volunteers will receive access to the app as soon as they begin their journey with us.
“We’re proud to be part of this project, volunteers are integral to so many causes, and we’re excited to help provide them with the tools they need to succeed in their roles. Our dedication to supporting the armed forces and their families aligns perfectly with e50K’s mission of creating stronger, more connected communities.”
Joe Miller, Commercial Director at SEKO Logistics.
